This week we had a debate about Anglo- Saxon and modern British punishments in a pretend court room. We took it in turns to be the jury and decided which punishment had been argued for the strongest. We also drew pictures of Anglo-Saxon men with various injuries and then worked out what the total Wergild fine would be.
We planned our own legends based on Beowulf and used the lego sets to practise telling the story.
In Maths we have been rounding decimals.
We also did some Music. We started to learn the song Livin' On a Prayer by Bon Jovi. We listened to and appraised the song, talking about what we could hear and if we liked it. We talked about indicators of the Classic Rock genre then had a go at learning the words and singing along. Miss S was very impressed.
