Reception have had a wonderful time today playing with the big tyres in our outdoor area. The play continued all day, with different children joining in at various stages and the use of the tyres changing throughout the day. The tyres were used for rolling, balancing, peeping, practising positional language, lining up, jumping, hiding, climbing and sunbathing! Tyres are great for imaginative play, teamwork and developing gross motor skills - all of which are really important skills. Most of all, they are so much fun!
