This afternoon Year 3 went on a lovely long walk down to Ewood Park to look at the Jack Walker monument made from bronze. In history they have been learning all about the Bronze Age and thought it would be a nice idea to link their learning to their local area. The children enjoyed sketching the monument on their clipboards, and enjoyed the sun all afternoon! Thank you to Miss Mack and Mrs Jacques for your help... even if the walk back did take us just over an hour! 😂 Miss Whaley🌳 ☀️ 🚦
