WOW! What a night! Tonight, I took 4 children to Townley Park in Burnley to take part in the Cross Country County Finals. It was a huge achievement to qualify and be selected to represent the Blackburn with Darwen borough. However, I am so incredibly proud to announce that our very own superstar, Lily-Mae, ran an AMAZING race and took the top spot out of 145 runners! She is now the East Lancs Girls Champion, and we couldn't be prouder! What an unbelievable achievement, and to have ran 2km in under 8 minutes! All the staff are so proud of every one of the runners, they represented school and our borough so well and with great determination! Miss Whaley 🤩👏🏼 🌟 🏃🏽‍♀️
