Year 1 are really enjoying their geography learning this half term 'Where does our food come from?'. This week they learnt about a dairy farm in Devon that has 528 cows, they don't sell the milk that the cows produce, they use it to make cheese and sell that. They also learnt that they send a lot of their cheese to Australia by sea. They had a look at a world map and the route the ship would take. After that they made their own cheese sandwiches and enjoyed eating them! 🐄🐄🥛🧀🦘🥪
