Year 1 really enjoyed their mastering number session today. They have been learning that 9 can be composed as a ‘square shape’ and today they used this information to explore the patterns that can be made in a 3-by-3 grid, in order to identify the parts ‘inside’ 9. Year 1 loved using the new double sided counters that Mrs Malik have provided them with. They also enjoyed writing number sentences on the table to match their patterns. Great job Year 1! ✨
