Yesterday the Worship Warriors and Miss Scholfield joined Rev Rebecca at the war memorial for a mini Remembrance Day service. The children said a prayer and Rev Rebecca showed them the names of fallen soldiers who lived in Lower Darwen, which are on the memorial. Reception class learned about what poppies represent and also had a go at creating some with red play dough and stones. 🪖
