In our outdoor learning sessions, we pretended to be the particles in a solid, liquid and gas. We then worked together in groups to list items that are solids, liquids and gases.
We had fun investigating circuits. We found out that everything in a circuit needs to link up in order for the light bulb to work. The wires need to be attached to both the positive and negative side of the battery, it won't work if the wires are both on the same side.
We have been looking at the digestive system. We looked at how our body uses the nutrients in our food and how we get rid of the waste.
We used a number of items to show this, working in groups. It wasn't exactly a clean lesson but it was great fun!
