Our Behaviour System at St James'
The behaviour system is designed to praise and reward the children who follow and adhere to our core values.
Following the values is rewarded by full participation in ‘Golden Time’ at the end of the week.
The ‘Star of the Week’ will be announced during our ‘celebration’ assembly at the end of the week (usually Friday morning). They will receive a certificate, a sticker and a ‘Star of the Week Hooded Top’ which they will be allowed to wear during school hours only, for the whole of the next week. The ‘Star of the Week’ can be chosen for academic or behavioural reasons at the discretion of the class teacher. Each week our stars will be displayed in the ‘Star of the Week Book’. We would hope to be able to reward all children at some point during the academic year.
