Week 1
Welcome back!
We have had a fabulous first week back at school. The children have blown us away with their performance of the classic poem 'The Owl and the Pussycat' and we can't wait to read their poems about their own animals.
We have started our 'Plants' topic in science this week and look forward to investigating what plants need to grow.
The local Fire Brigade attended school on Tuesday and the children thoroughly enjoyed learning about fire safety.
We learned about the artist Henri Matisse and had good fun creating our own Matisse style collages in art. Such colourful, inspiring work, well done Year 2!
