Week 2 (w/c 25th April)
Our Caterpillars have arrived!
On Friday, our caterpillars arrived in school. We were shocked at how small they were and were happy to hear that they have all the food in the pot they need to grow bigger and bigger!
We are looking forward to observing them in class and watching them grow. We will be talking about the life cycle of a caterpillar along the way.
PE - Working with Others
Cone Relay
We played a game in our minibeast group today. Each group had a colour. The groups had to take turns to collect their colour cones and add it to their pole on the other side of the room. They had to 'tag' their teammate before they could go. The children learnt that if they are not watching then it slows them and their team down.
Minibeast Painting
This week we have seen some fabulous paintings of minibeasts. The children looked closely at the colours and the shapes of the bodies.
Guided Reading
This week in Guided Reading we learnt some new vocabulary words and actions to go with each word. Then we read the story and listened out for our words.
