Week 3

Outdoor Learning

For our outdoor learning, we have started doing some SATs revision! Today, we worked with our shoulder partners to complete an arithmetic SATs paper through arithmetic orienteering. 

The children worked so hard and shows lots of excellent teamwork, especially Jaxson, Alfie, Ayo, Olivia W, Macie and Connor! Well done, children!

Worship

This week, we took our class worship outside when we were exploring the story of Jesus and the blind man. The children worked with their shoulder partners to guide each other around the playground. Afterwards, we discussed how it felt to be 'blind'. The children said it made them nervous and scared of falling over. We then discussed how the children needed to trust their partner to guide them safely. We made links to the story and discussed the themes of trust, compassion and having confidence in your beliefs.
