Week 3

Art

In Art we have been looking at different mark making techniques, one is called 'Pointillism'.

Did you know? This type of art was used in Australia by Aborigine people to create pictures.

We used this technique to add colour to a black and white image of the seaside.

We also had the opportunity to make our own colours, using the primary colours. We experimented making colours lighter and darker.

Computing

We continued our work on 'Coding' and were trying to change the colours of bubbles as well as making them move in certain directions.

PSHE

In PSHE this week we have been talking about our emotions, how we feel in certain situations and what we can do to make us feel better.

We made an emotion wheel to use to show others how we are feeling. We also decided we would discuss how we are feeling in the morning, to help us settle ready to start work.
