Week 4
Science is Fun!!
As part of our Science topic 'Animals Including Humans' we have enjoyed investigating the question 'Do people get faster as they get older?' Thank you to Miss Bryan and the children in reception class and Mrs Bibby Miss Kelly and the Year 6 children who helped us with our investigation (via video) by timing how long it took them to run the length of the playground.
As a class we have also registered to take part in the Petwise School Award with the Charity PDSA. We are enjoying completing different challenges based on taking care of pets and understanding their needs. We are currently well on our way to achieving the 1000 points required for the first part of the award.
Making our own Obb and Bob aliens helped us practise reading real and nonsense words in our phonics lessons.
We enjoyed using our new outdoor learning area on Friday for the first time and can't wait to use it again!
