Week 4

What we got up to this week...

What an exciting week! We had an AMAZING time at the pantomime, watching Aladdin. The children were perfectly behaved and loved eating their ice creams!

We also finished our shared write of our own version of the Tortoise and the Hare, finished with an independent write on Friday, where the children wrote a fable about a video we watched. The video was the Penguin and the Ostrich. You can watch it here.

In Maths, we moved on from subtraction and addition and started to look at multiplication. We recapped the multiplication sign and how multiplication links to repeated addition.

During our topic lessons, we continued our Geography by exploring earthquakes. The children are really enjoying our map work and learning new vocab such as epicentres and magnitude.
