Science
In Science this week, we have been looking at moon! We have been learning about the lunar cycle and the different phases that the moon goes through in its 29 day cycle. We looked at how the moon will start at a new moon, and will go through different phases throughout the month. We learnt that the moon goes through its first quarter and its waxing period (where the moon gets brighter). During this stage, it shows us its waxing cresents and waxing gibbous until it comes to a full moon! After the full moon, it will go through its waning period (where the moon becomes darker). It will show us its waning gibbous and its waning cresents, as well as its last quarter!
