Week 5

This week was assessment week for Year 6. The children absolutely worked their socks off and blew me away with their fantastic attitude and how they approached their tests. This was their first time practising real SATs papers and they did amazingly!

As well as completing lots of tests, the children have been working hard in PE learning their gymnastics.

In RE, we have been exploring what the children would like to change about the world. This week, the children learned about Martin Luther King's 'I have a dream' speech. They thought about what their dream for the world is and wrote their own 'I have a dream' speeches.

As well as working hard in their lessons, some of our Year 6 children went with Mr Hudson to choose our school Christmas trees. Once they arrived, they also decorated them. Look out for them on the playground!
