We have continued learning about Kampong Ayer in geography and this week the children compared school life in Kampong Ayer to school life at St James! They will use all their geographical skills and knowledge to produce a non-chronological report for Mrs Tindall next week in English.
The children have enjoyed taking part in some yoga sessions this week, alongside their PE sessions, which really helped them focus and relax. It was great for everyone's well being too (including the teachers!) We made the most of the sunshine on Wednesday and took our PE lesson outside.
Thank you for the donation of boxes! The children had fun building their own 'church' in RE.
The children looked like rays of sunshine in their colourful outfits on Wednesday, in memory of Mrs Readshaw. The church service in the afternoon was beautiful and it was lovely coming together as a school to remember such a positive, fun-loving member of the St James' family.
We had an amazing time at Imagine That on Thursday. The children had lots of fun in the science museum and really enjoyed all the 'hands on' activities. They were impeccably behaved and a fun time was had by all!
