Week 5

What we've been up to this week...

What a fantastic week in school!

We have finished our shared writes in English of our own version of The Iron Man. We also completed our independent write to show off all our learned skills. This was the next chapter where our creatures escaped from their traps!

In maths we have finished our fraction block of learning. We have been comparing and ordering fractions and also adding and subtracting them, using practical equipment to support our learning.

In history we investigated what a stater was and looked at how these were used in the Iron Age. Even though they look like coins, they weren't used to buy and trade things!

We had a FANTASTIC time on the trip to Imagine That! There was SO much to do and the children behaved brilliantly. They made us really proud and the one of the staff members at Imagine That commented on the lovey manners of the children. I'm sure the children were tired afterwards - we had a few nappers on the journey back!!

We also had our memorial service for Mrs Readshaw whoch was a perfect celebration our how amazing she was. The children and staff really did her proud.
