Week 5 (Monday 21st March - Friday 25th March)
Milk Time in the sunshine!
On Tuesday we made the most of the lovely weather and had our milk in the sunshine. We listened to our story this week 'What the Ladybird Heard'.
Farmyard Yoga
On Thursday we continued our yoga, with a farmyard theme.
We learnt different poses:
farmer on tractor
sheepdog
sheep
cow
horse
tree
hens

The children are really enjoying our weekly session of yoga.

Drawing Club
This week saw the return of 'Drawing Club' in class. The children were very excited to see this picture on our visual timetable:
We learnt eight new vocabulary words from our story with actions. The children helped to come up with the actions.

When we read the story 'The Hairy Toe' the children did the actions whenever our vocabulary was heard.
Each day the children went to the drawing club table and drew their own version of the story. We saw lots of great imaginations!
