Week 6

Week 6

We've had another great week this week!

The children have blown us away with their computing skills as we have began our coding unit of work. I personally find coding very tricky but the children grasped it really well! Some of them end up being the teachers!

We have really enjoyed learning about properties of rocks. On Monday the children did some investigations to group rocks according to categories such as durability, hard or soft, permeability and density.

In English, we have finished our book, The Stone Age boy and the children have planned their own ending to the story.

The children have moved on to our next learning block in Maths, addition and subtraction. We have recapped adding tens and ones and we have moved on to hundreds.

Thank you for a fabulous week Year 3. This week is a very long half term. There are still two weeks left and you are all still in good spirits even though you are so tired! Thankyou. Two weeks left! We have got this!

Enjoy your weekend.
