Week 6

The children have worked so hard during the last week of half term!

We have delivered our geography leaflets to Roman Road library and were really excited that local Councillor Humphries read some of them! The walk to the library also gave us an opportunity to look at human and physical features of our local area.

We enjoyed using the Lego to plan our independent leaflets about our fictional town 'Blueburn'.

In science we investigated the question 'Which is the best material to make an umbrella from?'  Our practical experiment helped us find suitable materials and we were able to discuss our finding with our friends.

As part of child mental health week we have enjoyed some mindfulness colouring and dancing.  We have talked about keeping ourselves safe on the internet and on the roads.

What a busy last week of half term!
