Week 6

What We've Been Up To This Week

Our last week of term has been super busy!

We have finished our explanation text genre of writing in English. We completed a shared write on 'How are Seeds Dispersed?' and an independent write about 'How do Plants Grow?' The children enjoyed taking ownership of their writing and putting their science knowledge from this half term into action.

We enjoyed making Easter cards in Spanish with our Spanish teacher, Miss Williams.

We went through our assessment papers in Maths as a class, looking at what mistakes we had made and sharing our methods. Learning from our mistakes is one of our SKATs at school and a really important part of our learning.

We took part in the Hop, Skip, Jump challenge to raise money for East Lancs Hospice, which is an amazing charity. A lady from the hospice came to present our school with a cheque for the money we had raised in Worship on Thursday.

Have a wonderful Easter!
