Our Nativity Superstars

We were all so impressed with how well the children performed on Wednesday night. It was lovely to have such a great audience and the singing was amazing. Well done Reception Class! ✨✨

Christmas Spirituality Day @ Church

Monday 6th December

On Monday morning we went to church to take part in some activities with Rev. Alice, Rev Rebecca and Sharon as part of the Christmas Spirituality Day.

With Rev. Alice we looked at pictures of Bethlehem in the past and now and talked about it being a real place.

Sharon explained that Jesus is known by some different names, like Messiah and Immanuel, just like we sometimes have different names or nicknames.

Rev. Rebecca gave us a Nativity sequencing activity, we had to find the next picture in the sequence as she told us the story of Jesus' birth. Did you know his mum rode on a donkey to Bethlehem to have baby Jesus? Did you also know she had to ride the donkey away again, to go somewhere safe far away from King Herod carrying baby Jesus?

After we had done the activities we all made a decoration to hang on the Christmas tree in Church. We drew our favourite part of the Christmas story on a heart and then they were made into hanging decorations.
