This week in maths we have been learning all about 3D shapes. We talked about their properties and what 2D shapes we could see within them. We finished our phase 3 sound mat with the sounds ure and er, which the children were very excited about! 

Outdoors we were very busy being scientists, exploring whether materials sink or float. We made predictions and talked about how we could record our results. We also discussed kings and queens and said what rule we would made if we were a monarch. We created rosettes to show an achievement which made us proud. Road safety was another focus of learning and we enjoyed pretending to cross a 'road' using our bike track outside.
