Snow Closure Procedure
- Should the school need to close for any reason we will text parents via the Arbor App. Please keep your mobile numbers up to date.
- The most up to date information will also be on the school website and Facebook and will be updated regularly. No closure updates will mean that school is open.
- Where possible closures will be reported to Radio Lancashire for broadcast.
- Should we decide to close school during the day as a result of deterioration in the weather, we will contact parents via the Arbor App. We will always try to give parents as much notice as possible. We would ask that parents do not call school.
- Should school close early, no child will be allowed home without a suitable adult or parental escort.

Looking after children in extreme conditions is usually a matter of common sense and you may be sure that we always have your child’s safety in mind when decisions are made.
If there has been snow, and it is suitable for the children to play out, they will need wellington boots or suitable footwear!
