We've had a very busy week this week! Our caterpillars have nearly all transformed into a chrysalis, which we were very excited about. We have really enjoyed watching the caterpillars grow bigger and bigger each day. We have been recapping the composition of five in maths, using the song 'Five Cheeky Monkeys' to represent the number bonds to five. In English we started our second writing outcome, based on the text The Extraordinary Gardener. We described the setting and character and thought of some excellent sentences to say what we could see in the illustrations. We have also made some flowers out of coloured paper, practising a range of joining methods such as stapling, glueing and taping. We have been using the beebot in small groups too, programming commands to make it move where we wanted it to and debugging it if we made a mistake.
