Our learning this week:

In Year 2 this week, we have been exploring what our resident Blackpool experts Year 5 would recommend going to visit in Blackpool, on the coast, in our Geography. We looked at ocean life in Science, exploring what creatures we would find at surface level, then going deeper into the ocean at 500m, 1000m and 2000m and what we would find there. This resulted in the children making a collage of the marine life we could potentially find in the ocean. Through our English we have been exploring explanation texts and identifying all the different features, ready for planning and writing our own about our own inventions next week.
