Snapshot of our learning this week

English - This week the children have finished their Old Bear writing and have written their Problem Penguin and Elephant Ending. Miss Bryan and Miss Harry are super proud of their hard work and beautiful writing!

Maths - In maths we have been looking at finding one more and one less on a number line and also comparing numbers using <, > and =.

PE - Throwing & Catching - In PE we have been developing our overarm throwing. We learnt that overarm throws are better for longer distances and we practised standing side on, stepping forward and then pulling back our arms before releasing the beanbag.

PE - Fundamental Movement Skills - Year 1 created and held balanced positions using different points of contact.
