  • Week 8

What a lovely last week of our half term. We enjoyed a trip to the library, where the children walked with their buddies carefully throughout the journey, then shared stories and books together. The behaviour of the children was excellent and it was a pleasure to see the class spending quality time together with their buddies. After the trip, the children used their knowledge of maps from this half term to draw a map of their journey to the library. We used photos to help us plot the journey together then drew our own independently.

Many of the Reception children experienced their first school disco - the Yee Haw disco! They all looked amazing and again their behaviour was outstanding. In English we finished our information outcome about frogs, which linked to our story - The Something. On Friday it was creative writing day. The children drew their own ideas about an unchartered island which rose from the sea. They really enjoyed this!

Well done for an amazing half term everybody!
