Spring 1 - ELSA Social Group

Whilst the weather has been a little challenging for gardening, our ELSA Social group have still been busy.  We had fun creating tiny houses for our tiny people using resources we could find laying around our garden area.  We have also made some wormeries and are looking forward to seeing what our new worm friends get up to over the next few weeks.

Unfortunately our garlic didn't survive the very cold weather we have had but we will try again in a few weeks when it starts to warm up.

New Term - Autumn 24- 25 Operation Tidyup!

6.9.24

As the Autumn term begins, Mrs Wilton and the gardeners have a big job on their hands.  The warm, wet weather has turned the raised beds into jungles!

Let the weeding commence!

ELSA Social Group - Our crops are growing!

Our ELSA Social Group have been working really hard to keep the weeds away so that our plants have the very best chance to grow.  Now the weather is improving we also have to water the plants regularly.

We have planted potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, strawberries and California Poppies.  They are all finally starting to make progress and we are beginning to see the products of all our hard work.

What a super effort by the whole team and we hope to have a small crop to show everyone before the end of the summer term.
