Our learning this week:

What a fantastic start Year 2 have had to the new half-term. This week in Year 2 we have been exploring our new text, Grandad's Island, in English. We have been looking at the setting of the island and describing what we can see. In Maths, we have continued looking at measures, but we have been focusing on mass, capacity and volume. In Geography, we have been exploring the United Kingdom and discussing the capital cities. We have enjoyed our Science this week, forming an investigation to see what plants need to grow and whether we can successfully grow our own plants. Before ending the week with PE, looking at sending and receiving balls. A brilliant start to the new half-term from everybody in the class.
