What a lovely first week back in Year 5!

This week we started our new topic in science, 'Forces'.  We learnt about Isaac Newton and conducted our own experiments to investigate gravity using a selection of different sized balls.

We are learning about the Tudors in History, and we became historians and used primary sources of evidence to decide if we thought Henry VIII was a fair ruler or a tyrant!  We discussed if the evidence was biased and how this impacted our decision.

In music, we learnt and performed a South African song, called Shosholoza, a cappella.
