Our learning this week:

This week in school we have been thinking about curiosity linked to British Science Week which we celebrated on Friday. The children recorded lots of questions linked to Science that they would like to find the answer to. As we have been learning about plants we considered two questions 'How do trees grow?' and 'Why can trees grow in the sun but not in the rain?' and completed fact files on different trees and completed an investigation find out the answers. We then went into the hall to explore each year group's research as they showcased their learning. In other subjects we learnt about the 5 oceans in Geography and completed our stories on Grandad's Island in English.
