PE Days in Year 2 are Monday and Tuesday:

The children will need to come to school in their school PE kit on these days. This must be a plain white t-shirt with black bottoms such as leggings, shorts or joggers and a pair of trainers or black PE pumps.

 Reading in Year 2:

Children will bring home two books: one matched to their reading ability and another chosen for reading for pleasure.

Please ensure your child brings their book bag to school every day. We encourage you to read together as often as possible, ideally at least three times a week, as this plays an important role in supporting your child’s learning and progress.

Homework in Year 2:

Homework is sent home every Friday to be returned the following Friday. Spellings are given every week alongside either a Talk Token or a Maths activity. Children who complete homework will receive a Homework Heroes raffle ticket and a prize winner will be drawn at the end of each term.
