Our PE days are Wednesday and Friday.

Children should come in to school in their PE kit these days. This must be a plain white t-shirt or our red school PE kit, with plain black bottoms such as leggings, shorts or joggers and a pair of trainers. Earrings should not be worn on PE days.

Children will bring home two books: one matched to their reading ability and another chosen for reading for pleasure.

Please ensure your child brings their book bag to school every day. We encourage you to read together as often as possible, ideally at least three times a week, as this plays an important role in supporting your child’s learning and progress.

Your child will receive a homework scrapbook containing one weekly activity, either a Talk Token or a Family Maths Task. They will also be given a set of spellings to practise each week.

Homework and spellings will be set every Friday, with a spelling check taking place the following Friday. Please encourage and support your child with their homework, as regular practice plays an important role in their development and progress.
