Welcome back to Year 6! 🌟

What a fantastic first week we have had! The children have settled brilliantly and have enjoyed getting stuck into their learning. In Science, we began our new classification unit by using biscuits to explore how classification keys work and how we can use a process of elimination to identify different items. In PE, we developed our invasion game skills, focusing on teamwork, movement and communication.

An important part of our first week has been taking on our new Year 6 roles and responsibilities. The children also voted for their Precious Stone Team Captains and Vice Captains, who will help lead their teams throughout the year. We have also been busy writing and presenting some fantastic manifestos in preparation for our Pupil Voice elections next week.

It has been a fabulous first week, and we are already looking forward to all the fun, learning and exciting opportunities Year 6 has in store!
