Learning Snapshot

What a fantastic first week we have had in Year 4! The children have settled back into school brilliantly and have already shown such enthusiasm and positivity towards their learning. We have certainly been busy with our learning too! We really enjoyed writing and presenting our Pupil Voice Group manifestos, sharing our ideas confidently with the rest of the class. In Art, we explored how to use tone when shading, while in PE we began our new Invasion Skills topic with Miss Whaley and Miss Ivinson. In Maths, we have enjoyed developing our understanding of place value and challenging ourselves by finding different ways to partition numbers up to 1,000. We have also started our new Music topic and absolutely loved singing ‘This Little Light of Mine’ together. It has been a brilliant start to Year 4, and we are excited to see what the rest of the term brings!
