Our learning this week:

Year 2 have continued their fantastic start to the new half-term. This week they have been exploring different textures in Art going outside and using wax crayons, oil pastels and chalk to make rubbings on card on top of different objects around the playground. In History we have been continuing to explore schools in the past delving into the past of St. James' looking at what things were like in our school in the 1990s and the 2000s, with the children coming up with their own questions about what they'd like to know about the past. In Maths we have explored how two digit numbers are made up of tens and ones and what the value of each part of the number is.
