We have had another busy and brilliant week in Year 4! In Science, we were given a special mission to investigate whether sound travels louder and clearer through solids, liquids or gases. In PE, we continued developing our invasion game skills, focusing on keeping possession even when extra defenders were added to make the challenge harder. In Music, we worked on our pitch and rhythm while singing This Little Light of Mine in a gospel style. During English, we explored our vehicle text, The Whale, by creating freeze frames to capture an important moment in the story. In History, we researched the different jobs carried out by Victorian child apprentices and discovered what their working conditions would have been like. To finish off our week, we also took part in a fantastic recycling workshop to celebrate Recycling Week, learning more about how we can all help to look after our planet. ♻️🌍 What another fantastic week of learning!
