Our learning this week:

This week has been an exciting week in Year 2, have had some very exciting new additions to our classroom! On Monday morning, we were delighted to receive a batch of eggs from Bowland Farm. By Thursday morning, we were thrilled to discover seven tiny chicks chirping away in our classroom, with an eighth little chick joining us at lunchtime! 

The children have also planned and started writing their circular narrative this week based on the text 'A river'. The children have made a fantastic start to their writing and wrote some excellent descriptive sentences.  

In History we continued exploring how classrooms were different in the past to the present, before ending the week with our PSHE lesson focusing on the importance of what we eat.
