Learning Snapshot

What a busy and brilliant week of learning we've had in Year 4! In Maths, we took our learning into the hall for some exciting active challenges, putting our addition and subtraction skills to the test with 4-digit numbers involving exchanges! It was fantastic to see everyone working hard and enjoying learning in a different way! In History, we travelled back in time to explore the diseases that spread during the Tudor and Victorian periods. We investigated why illnesses spread so quickly and discovered just how different hygiene and healthcare were compared to today! In Art, we made an exciting start on our final pieces inspired by the incredible artist Sarah Graham. We can't wait to see our colourful creations come together! In PE, we enjoyed putting our invasion games skills into practice with Miss Ivinson, demonstrating brilliant teamwork, communication and determination! Finally, we've had some superstar swimmers this week who have really impressed us with their confidence, effort and progress in the pool! Another wonderful week filled with enthusiasm, hard work and fantastic learning. Well done, Year 4!
