Learning Snapshot

What an exciting and action-packed week we've had in Year 4! We've been busy showing off our skills, celebrating our learning and enjoying some brilliant challenges! In PE, our exciting intra-house competitions have officially begun! Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire have been battling it out in games of Bench Ball and Treasure Island, putting their invasion skills into practice. We've seen some fantastic teamwork, communication and determination from everyone! We also took time to make our own pledges to be kind, thinking carefully about how our words and actions can make a positive difference to others. In French, we celebrated everything we've learnt this half term by creating fantastic double-page spreads showcasing our knowledge of descriptions. We were so impressed with how much French vocabulary everyone could remember! In Art, we completed our final pieces inspired by the talented artist Sarah Graham. The children have worked incredibly hard, and their colourful creations look absolutely amazing! In Computing, we began an exciting new unit with Miss Borrett, exploring new technology and developing our understanding of the digital world. Finally, we've been working especially hard on our times tables, and the excitement has certainly stepped up with the launch of our Year 4 Boys vs Girls Times Tables Rock Stars Battle! The competition is on, and we can't wait to see who comes out on top! Another brilliant week of learning, teamwork and enthusiasm!
