What a brilliant, bustling Week in Year 5!

We’ve had a fantastic week in Year 5 and have been very busy with lots of exciting learning! Our Stay and Learn was a big success – the children loved showing off their learning to the adults who came along. There were activities from science to yoga and music, and the children were so proud to share what they’ve been working on. Thank you to all the adults from home for your amazing support – it really meant a lot to the children!

We’ve also been practising hard for J Factor, with auditions taking place this week, and it’s been very exciting to see everyone’s confidence grow. On top of that, we’ve enjoyed visiting the Book Fair in the hall, where there were lots of great books to explore.

In DT, the children have been busy creating the mechanisms for their pop-up books. They’ve been learning all about levers, sliders and spacers, and have done a brilliant job designing and testing how their mechanisms work.

Well done, Year 5 – another week full of hard work, creativity and fun!
