  • Week 1

    Talent, Tech, and Triumphs!

What a sensational week it has been, topped off by some incredible news from the J Factor! We were absolutely amazed by all the talent on display, and we are bursting with pride for Jacob and Filip, who were crowned the KS2 winners with their brilliant vehicle sounds act. Well done!

    🐺 English: Nature Documentaries

We’ve started an exciting new unit in English, diving deep into the world of wolves. We’ve been busy analyzing and planning our own documentary narratives, which we hope to record as professional voiceovers next week. Stay tuned for some wild storytelling!

    🔢 Mathematics: Masterful Decimals

Our work with decimals continued this week as we tackled the challenge of multiplying and dividing them by integers. The children showed great resilience applying these skills to solve complex word problems and strengthen their place value knowledge.

🏗️ DT & Science: Designing for the Future

In DT, we’ve kicked off our "Playgrounds" unit. We’ve been exploring what makes a playground fun and safe, creating our own design criteria, and sketching out some very imaginative plans. We can't wait to start building our 3D models soon!

In Science, we began a vital project on sustainability. To explore the real-world effects of climate change, we’ve created rain gauges to measure local rainfall over the next four weeks. This hands-on experiment will help us understand our changing environment.
