This week, Year 5 have been busy making exciting links between their learning in French and art. They explored where French is spoken around the world, discovering a range of countries and cultures, and then used this knowledge to inspire their creative work. Working collaboratively, the children designed and created prints of different national flags from French-speaking countries. They experimented with a variety of materials and techniques to produce their prints, showing great teamwork and creativity throughout the process. It was fantastic to see them combining their understanding of the French-speaking world with their artistic skills to create such vibrant and meaningful pieces of work.
