Week Four

Wow, here we are again, another week finished.

Our SKATs winner was...

What a busy week we have had in Year 4 this week.

Monday saw the visit from the Mountain Bike Champion, Danny Butler. Mr Walmsley was volunteered by everyone in school to lay on the floor and let Danny perform tricks.

As well as they assembly, the children were put through some training exercises too. We all had a great time.

Thank you for everyone for participating, and raising lots of money.

Wednesday Afternoon, saw Mr Walmsley take a group of Year 4 children to play football in a tournament.

All the children had a great time, and as always made St James proud of their conduct and behaviour.

Thursday was Year 4's Play in a Day. The play chosen was "How to train your Dragon", a book that we have been reading in our Guided Reading, followed on in our Stop and Read time.

The children were completely engaged in the scenes and the production. They were all involved in some way or another. Their performance in the afternoon, in front of parents and the whole school made Mr Walmsley and Mrs Hudson very proud.

Great work everyone. Big thank you to Sophie for all of her hard work in bringing it altogether.
