This Week in Year 1...

What a fantastic week we’ve had! In English, the children have been busy planning and writing parts of our Traditional Tale, Rapunzel. Their ideas have been wonderful, and their effort has really shone through. We have also completed Week 2 of OTTO Club, and we are already seeing huge improvements in handwriting — well done, everyone!

In PSHE, we explored the importance of our school rules and why they help us to feel safe, happy and ready to learn. During PE, we developed our team-building skills and absolutely loved the games we played. Miss Bryan and Miss Mack were so impressed with the teamwork on display!

The children continue to blow us away with their writing — their teachers are incredibly proud of the progress they are making every single day. Keep aiming high, Year 1! 🌟
