Week 1
This week in Year 6, we have been busy and engaged in a variety of learning activities! The children wrote their pupil voice manifestos and confidently presented them to the class. In English, we began our new unit using the powerful book Rose Blanche, exploring its themes and ideas.
In Maths, we deepened our understanding of place value with numbers up to 10 million, while in PSHE we focused on teamwork and collaboration. We also held our class vote for new team captains.
To make learning even more fun, we took spelling outside for a prefix relay, combining physical activity with practising key spelling patterns.
It has been a week full of creativity, teamwork, and active learning!
