Welcome back! We hope you have had a wonderful half term. This week we have started to explore our next English text - Star in a Jar. We looked around for treasure like the boy in the story and talked about our favourite things we'd found. We listened to the story song - Shining Star and explored the characters and the setting. In maths we learned about circles and triangles, looking at their features and going for a shape hunt in the environment. We explored fruits and vegetables and differences between them, as well as making a large scale 3D model of our local area. Our celebrations topic was launched with a discussion about what a celebration is and the children drew a celebration they have experienced.
